Adding using tidy numbers strategy

Reflection :

I have been learning to practise my addition by using tidy numbers in different ways.  I think I was good at getting the number to the nearest group of ten e.g. 48 + 2 = 50.  My next step is to take more care recording my maths in my maths books so that I can get the answers right.

I found this piece of work I was learning to find and summarise information.

I found this work a bit tricky because couldn't find much information.I found this work interesting because I learnt new things that I didn't know before.

My reflection
I have been learning how to do  unit fractions and multiple fraction.  I found it hard because I had no idea what was unit fraction and multiple fraction.  
It was a little easy but I did need to learn my basic facts and that was what stopped me.

This is my pepeha art that I made it represents my learning.I used die to die over it.

My special place

I was learning how to use my senses to add detail to my writing so that I can make my writing more interesting  for my readers.

I was proud of my writing because I put lots of detail into it.The part that was tricky for me was what could we smell because it was hard to find the right words.

My next step is to use my skills in my other writing to add detail.

Finding and Summarising Information in a Non-Fiction Test

I have been learning to find and summarise information in a non-fiction text.  I read a book about butterflies and learnt some facts.  I used the information I found to do a comparison with Eliani who learnt about bees.  Here is our Venn Diagram:
